Photo Edit AI

Photo Edit AI is an AI photo editor for your phone where you edit pictures by chatting instead of hunting through sliders and menus. You add a photo, write what you want changed, and the AI returns a new version. The app is made by Hecteria and is still in development, so it is not on the app stores yet.

How chat-based photo editing works

The editor looks like a conversation. You pick a photo from your library, then type an instruction such as "remove the background" or "make it look like a watercolor painting". The AI sends back an edited image, and you can keep going with follow-up messages to adjust the result, one step at a time.

Behind the scenes your photo and your text are sent to a server and processed by Google's Gemini AI models, so editing needs an internet connection. The app does not work offline.

Credits and accounts

AI edits use a credit system. A generation that fails is meant to be refunded automatically. The details of pricing, free credits and subscriptions are not final while the app is in development, so check the store listing once it is published.

You can sign in with Google or Apple, or continue as a guest. The app shows no third-party ads and does not read your contacts or location. It asks for photo library access only when you add or save a picture.

Photo Edit AI suits people who want quick results without learning a traditional editor: removing a cluttered background, trying an artistic look on a portrait, or preparing a picture for a profile or a post.

Privacy in short

Your photos and prompts are uploaded for processing and kept in your account until you delete it, which you can do from Settings. Please do not upload photos of other people without permission.
