Digit Decryptor is a number code-breaking puzzle game in which you deduce a hidden numeric code from your guesses and the colour feedback you receive after each one. It is a logic game in the spirit of classic code-breaker puzzles, with short rounds, a daily challenge and progress tracking. It is available for iPhone and Android.
How a round works
The game picks a secret code made of different digits. You enter a guess of the same length, and each digit comes back coloured:
- Green means the digit is correct and in the right position.
- Yellow means the digit is in the code but in a different position. This hint switches on from your second guess, so the first guess is a pure test.
You have a limited number of attempts, so each guess has to use what the previous ones told you. Because digits in a code never repeat, careful elimination beats random trying.
Four difficulty levels
Codes come in four lengths, from 4 to 7 digits. A 4-digit code gives you 5 attempts, 5 digits gives 5, 6 digits gives 5 and 7 digits gives 6, so the longer codes demand much more planning. You start on the 4-digit level, and winning three games on your highest unlocked level opens the next one.
Daily puzzle, friends and achievements
- Daily puzzle: a new 5-digit code each day. You can share your result as a colour grid without spoiling the answer.
- Leaderboards and achievements: compare your score through the game's leaderboards and unlock achievements as you play.
- Friends: add friends and send duel invites.
- Statistics: the game keeps track of your wins, games played and streaks.
- Reminders: optional notifications can remind you about the daily puzzle and warn you before a streak ends. You can turn them off.
Ads, accounts and privacy
Digit Decryptor is free and supported by ads. You can play straight away because the game signs you in anonymously; creating an account with an email address is optional. The privacy policy explains what is stored, such as your username and scores for leaderboards, and what is not collected, such as your location, contacts and photos.
The game is available in 18 languages, including English, Turkish, German, Spanish, French and Japanese.
