About
Honey Meadow is an idle bee game about gathering pollen, turning it into honey and growing a swarm of bees. You walk through flower fields, fill your bag, and bring the pollen back to your hive. The game is made by Hecteria and is still in development, so it is not on the app stores yet.
How the game works
The loop is simple and relaxing. You walk into a field and your tool collects pollen from the flowers while your bees fly out and gather it too. When your bag is full, you return to the honey pad in front of the hive and the pollen is converted into honey. Honey is the currency you spend on everything else.
With honey you can:
- buy eggs and hatch new bees
- upgrade your tool, bag and shoes
- level up individual bees so they gather and convert faster
- buy gear that helps you survive in tougher areas
Bees, fields and wasps
Eggs hatch into different kinds of bees, and some are tied to a flower colour, so placing the right bee in the right field pays off. Your hive has limited room, so choosing which bees to keep matters. Merging matching bees is part of how a swarm grows.
New flower fields unlock as your swarm gets bigger, and later fields give much more pollen per flower. Beyond the starting field, wasps appear and try to steal your pollen. You can fight them, and beating them earns a reward.
Idle progress and rebirth
The game keeps earning for you while you are away, but only part of the normal rate and only for a limited time, so it is worth opening now and then. Once you have progressed far enough, a rebirth resets part of your run in exchange for crowns, which give a permanent honey bonus to your next run.
Ads, saves and privacy
The game is planned to include optional rewarded ads, for example to boost pollen gathering for a while. Nothing forces you to watch them. Progress is saved so you can continue later. Depending on the version, accounts and cloud saves may be offered, and saves do not necessarily transfer between platforms. Final details will be published with the release.

Yes, but only part of your normal income and only for a limited time. Opening the game regularly keeps your hive growing faster.

Rebirth is a reset you can choose once you have progressed far enough. In return you earn crowns that boost your honey permanently.
