Spiralday is a daily planner and diary app that looks like a spiral-bound paper agenda, with one page for every day of the year. You write tasks, meetings and journal entries on the page, and an AI assistant can turn a sentence into dated tasks with reminders. It is available for iPhone and Android.
One page per day
The book has 365 pages, one for each day. A page holds your tasks, meetings and a journal entry, so what you plan and what actually happened live side by side. You can attach photos and videos to a page, which makes it work as a light photo diary too. Pinned notes sit on ribbon bookmarks along the edge and always open on the same page, regardless of date. The free version offers two of them and Premium raises the limit to six.
Repeating items are flexible. You can repeat something daily, weekly or monthly, every few days or weeks, on a set day of the month, on the second Tuesday, or on the last Friday, and you can end the series on a date or after a number of times.
The AI assistant
Instead of filling in forms, you can type or say what you need, for example "add a dentist appointment tomorrow at 3 PM". The assistant places it on the right day and time and can set a reminder. Voice input is built in. Premium adds an assistant that remembers your history, a memory map, mood trends drawn from your journal entries and a yearly summary in a story-card format that you can share.
Messages to the assistant are processed through cloud functions and are not stored on the server once the reply is done. The privacy policy names the AI providers involved.
Reminders, widgets and calendar
Notifications fire before a task by the amount of time you choose. A home-screen widget shows your day, public holidays for your region can appear on the pages, and entries can be pushed to your device calendar in one direction, from Spiralday to the calendar.
Free and Premium
The app is free to use with ads and 100 MB of media storage. Premium removes ads, raises media storage to 2 GB and allows 100 AI requests a day along with the memory features. You can sign in, but an anonymous account is created either way, and you can delete your account and all data inside the app under Profile.
Spiralday is translated into 20 languages and does not collect your location or contacts.
