About
NumRush: Maths Race is a fast-paced math puzzle game for Android. Equation cards fall down the screen, and you tap the correct answer before they reach the bottom. The pace picks up as your score grows, so it works as a quick mental maths workout and a competitive game at the same time.
How to play
Each card shows a sum with several answer options. Addition, subtraction, multiplication and division all appear, and on the hardest setting answers can even be negative. Tap the right option to score a point and clear the card; as your score rises, the numbers get bigger and the cards fall faster.
There are four difficulty levels: easy, medium, hard and expert. Easy sticks to single digits, while expert brings two-digit numbers and larger multiplication tables.
Game modes
- Classic: one mistake ends the run, so it is all about accuracy and streaks.
- Race: you start with three lives, and levelling up earns an extra life, up to five.
- Career: a map of 50 levels with their own settings, for steady progress.
- Weekly challenge: a weekly leaderboard with a limited number of plays, so everyone gets the same chance to post a score.
- Multiplayer rooms: create a room and share its code or a join link. Rooms hold from two up to ten players, and the host chooses the difficulty, a timed or lives format, and the time limit.
Progress and social features
NumRush tracks your stats and has 19 achievements and daily quests. You can add friends, invite them to a room and compare scores on leaderboards. Games can also be shared with friends.
Offline play and accounts
The solo game does not need a connection. If you finish a run offline, the score is queued on your device and sent when you are back online. Online features, such as leaderboards, friends and multiplayer, need a connection. On Android, sign-in goes through your Google account, which is used for scores and your profile.
Ads and languages
NumRush shows ads served by Google AdMob, and you can manage ad preferences in your device settings. The game is available in English and Turkish.
Who it is for
It suits students practising arithmetic, adults who like quick brain training in short sessions, and friends who want a simple head-to-head game.
