This policy explains how the Digit Decryptor mobile game (Android package com.altancorp.codebreaker and its iOS version, the "App") handles personal data. The controller is Hecteria (Türkiye). Contact: support@hecteria.com. For help, see the support page.
1. Data we process
- Anonymous account. On launch the App signs you in anonymously with Google Firebase Authentication, so no sign-up is needed. If you create an account with an email address and password, your email address and chosen username are stored with your profile.
- Profile, progress and scores. Your username, avatar, total score, wins, games played, achievements and friends list, and your game statistics may be stored in Google Cloud Firestore under your account ID so they can be synced and shown on leaderboards. A default username is generated for anonymous players.
- Daily puzzle. For the daily puzzle we store your result (date, whether you solved it, attempts, time taken, digit count and your guess history) and may show your username and result on the daily leaderboards.
- Friends and invites. If you use friend and duel features, your username and display name are shared with the other player and stored with the request or invite.
- Game Center / Google Play Games. The App signs in to the platform game service to show leaderboards and achievements. Your player information is handled by that service.
- Notifications. If you allow notifications, Firebase Cloud Messaging creates a push token. We store the token, your platform, your notification preferences and the time of the last update, and use them to send daily reminders and streak warnings and friend or duel invites.
- Usage analytics and crash reports. Google Firebase Analytics records game events (for example finished games), and Firebase Crashlytics records crash details, device model, OS version and an installation identifier.
- Advertising. Google AdMob shows banner, interstitial and rewarded ads, and may process your device's advertising identifier, IP address and device information. The App marks its ad requests as child-directed and as for users under the age of consent, and limits ads to the general audience (G) rating.
- On your device. Settings, statistics and preferences are also kept on your device with shared preferences.
We do not collect your location, contacts, photos or microphone data, and we do not sell personal data.
2. Purposes and legal bases
- Providing the game, saving progress, leaderboards, friends and notifications: performance of our contract with you.
- Analytics, crash reporting, fraud prevention and keeping the App working: our legitimate interests.
- Ads and push notifications: your consent or device settings where required by law.
3. Service providers and transfers
Data is processed by Google LLC / Google Ireland (Firebase, AdMob, Google Play Games) and Apple Inc. (Game Center). These providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States, under their own safeguards. Your username and scores can be seen by other players on leaderboards.
4. Retention
Account and game data is kept while you use the App, until you ask us to delete it. Analytics and crash data follows Google's default retention settings. Push tokens are replaced when they refresh. Uninstalling the App stops further collection on your device but does not by itself delete data stored in the cloud.
5. Age
The App is a puzzle game for a general audience and is not designed to collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
6. Your rights and data deletion
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or Türkiye's KVKK), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your data, to object to or restrict processing, and to withdraw consent. You can turn notifications off in the App or in your device settings, and manage the advertising identifier in your device privacy settings.
To exercise these rights or request deletion of your account and data, email support@hecteria.com with the subject "Digit Decryptor data deletion". We delete within 30 days. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
7. Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version.
